what is the best buddy Tournament trail???????????
USA Bassin is a great trail with a great director running it in the two lakes area. 25 membership and 60 a tournament with team and co- Ed trails. I run the next generation trail for adults and kids 18 and under. U can contact me for info 2703073219 or u can go to the USA web site at usabassin.com.
I agree. Very well run and many divisions and options.
Fishers of Men is a good team trail. Five tournaments with a Regional and a National Tournament.
USA Bassin twin lakes division and Renegade I believe are the most competitive trails in central KY, ( Nolin, Rough, Barren ). These are the one's I donate my money to. Good payouts and good people to be around, but you better put your time in if you want to win.
USA Bassin.....hands down. Great payback, low entry and membership fees, and a Classic held on Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.....not to mention that 4 boats are up for grabs!

Has USA Bassin changed their "payout schedule"? I LOVE the tournaments, but have quit fishing them the last few years due to the payouts they had at the "base/division level". It used to be that I could not cover my entry fee, gas, and boat gas even by winning the event. I always felt this was a one of the BEST RUN trails out there, but it seemed like everything was geared, and the largest portion of money put back for, the "classic" on KY Lake. Can someone please tell me if things have changed as I would definately fish/donate my money to these again if they have? Thanks for any info.

True the payouts are not that great in USA Bassin but you have to remember that your only paying $60 per tournament and there are only 40-50 boat fields. However, the regionals pay well (only 250 points needed to qualify) and the classic pays well if you place. You also have to remember this is only for the weekend warriors that want to have some fun it's not the elite series. If you are worried more about payout than Renegade is the way to go, however those boys are good and you better have 15+ pounds in every tourney if you want to get paid. Exactly why I don't fish renegade because I would just donate my money anyway. If I cash a check it's all luck. I'm just out to have a good time.
Anglers Outpost & Marine along with Skeeter Boats has a brand new team tournament trail beginning this year. 10 divisions throughout the state with a Classic held at Kentucky Lake in September. $10,000 first place based on 150 boats!
