Tournament Rules:
1. Limit: This is a (5) fish-limit per team. Anyone bringing more than five fish will have the sack culled to the five-fish limit starting with the big fish. All culling must be done on the water, not on the bank. Lake size limits apply for each lake.
2.Catch and Release: This is a catch and release tournament. All live fish must be returned to the tournament waters.
3.Largest Fish: Ties for the largest fish will split the largest fish pot.
4.Permitted Fishing Methods: All bass must be caught alive in conventional sporting manner. Only 1 rod may be used at a time. Trolling as a method of fishing is absolutely prohibited.
5.Short Fish Penalties: You may ask your director for a courtesy bump. All fish brought to the weigh in must be of legal size determined by state law for that body of water fished. Short fish will be culled from your sack and the large fish will also be culled from the remaining fish.
6.Dead Fish Penalty: ¼ of ounce deducted for each dead fish from your total weight. That will be .250 on digital scales.
7.There will be a bucket on the dock for your flight chips, there will be an official there to pick the bucket up at 3:30 PM EST and if your chip is not in the bucket by that time you will not be able to weigh your fish in.
8.Registration: There will be registration site prior to the tournament, it will start that morning at 5:30 AM EST.
9.Take Off: Take off position will be determined by a draw when you sign up for the tournament that morning.
10.Boat inspection: All livewells will be checked by a tournament official prior to start of tournament.
11.Safety: During the tournament, contestants will wear their life jackets zipped and secured when combustion engine is in operation.
12.Sportsmanship: All contestants are required to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy and conservation.
13.Alcoholic Beverages or Drug Use: The use of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs during tournament hours will be cause for immediate disqualification.
14.Protests: All protests must be submitted to the tournament director prior to the close of the weigh-in.
15.Tournament official will participate in this even.
16.Tournament Rules are interpreted by the tournament director and decisions are final!
