Felony charges for Lying to get out of Jury Duty

Personally.....I LOVE THIS.

Voting and Jury duty are the ONLY things required by our gubment for or gubment to succeed.

Throw the book at her.

I've never lied to get out of jury duty...........NEVER, NOT ONCE.

I've only done jury duty one time...this has been many years ago...not sure if what my excuse was could be considered a lie or not...but at the time I was going through a divorce, so I wrote them a letter that simply read: "I'm in the middle of going through divorce proceedings and at this time I do not feel I can judge others with an unbiased opinion".

They let me off the hook...until the following year. Then they called me up again...so that's when I did the duty.

I don't like or approve of the actions she took to get out of her duty but also think to prosecute is a mistake. I just don't appreciate the way the laws are enforced at times and right now I'm in my mood of until you prosecute folks like Eric Holder, Rangold or others who recieve tax payers dollars then leave others alone unless it's a serious crime. Maybe 40 hrs of picking up garbage on the side of the road??
Like I said I'm in a mood.....
