I live on the lake so hopefully I'll be able to help you out. The lake is up right now. "Up" being a relative term, because the lake pool never fluctuates more than a couple feet. Right now it is maybe a foot above average pool. The portion of the lake from the boat ramp up to the dam is always very clear. A tornado passed over this section of the lake three weeks ago and there is still a large amount of storm debris floating in the water. (Branches, garbage, wall studs, siding, etc.) The two main creeks that feed the lake usually have more of a stained quality to them but not anything I would call muddy. Surface temps in the two main creek arms last night were approaching 70 degrees and I would imagine the surface temps in the deeper sections of the lake would be a few degrees cooler. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
