This is a small report from our club's tourney yesterday on Lake Bashears.
Water Temp: 67 degrees
Start time: 6:45 am
Water Color: Stained
Final water temp: 71 degrees
We started the day with air temp in the 40's and drizzle rain all day till 1:00pm We had 13 anglers participate with $150 pay out and door prize by Lure Net (Booyah Baits). Fish where caught using mainly flukes, 10" worms, creature baits, and spinnerbaits. The pattern seemed to be hard banks/rock with grass off the edge. Some fish were taken off the lilly pad edges. I personall seen allot of ativity in the thick of the lillies but failed to get out in it. Large Bass was 4.98 lbs. Large bag was nearly 14 lbs. most anglers caught a good quality fish and followed up with several smalls. We will have a more detail info on our club's website www.evansvillebassmasters.webs.com with photos of all the fish later today. If you want to check out photos now go to our Face Book Page Evansvlle Bassmasters. We would also appreciate anyone who likes our page. We try to keep it updated also.
If anyone is in the Henderson, Madisonville, or Western KY area near Evansville we would welcome you to be apart of the club. We mainly fish Western Ky waters and are always interested in new members. Good luck fishing to every one and hope this helps anyone going to Lake Bashears this week.

What colors of soft plastics did you guys do best on?
We were using green pumpkin with green flake chigger crawls. Black blue jigs, white grey flukes and darker color creature and worms. The green pumpkin color has been hot even in summer for me at KY ****.
June Bug, Brown & Blue or Pumpkin & Blue and the older Blue w Silver Flake are good colors for Beshears.
Cool I appreciate any information. I will def try those colors in the future.
