Thanks for the report KC, made plans last week to fish Ky. Lake on new moon next week thinking they might back off and that I might catch them coming in or back in. Hope it works but will let you know either way. Tech

Got to spend a few family days over easter week end at Barkley and did a little fishing here and there but found the bite to be pretty tough. I didn't really hit it hard fishing most on Friday -- maybe 6 hours on the water where I did have 10 that would keep mostly on spinner baits. But Saturday / Sunday / Monday were tough only scratching up a few more bass. Sunday evening I went out for the last couple of hours before dark and didn't land a single bass. This series of fronts and high pressure seemed to really pull the fish back. I went our briefly Monday mid-morning with my daughter and we hit a crappie bed that we had found and the bay we were in was really devoid of fish marks on the graph. To that effect I had noted massive schools of fish back near the river channel again making me think the fish were pulling back. I had a great time on the water none-the-less but this crazy spring and recent weather patterns sure threw me a curve. I hope others faired better...

A group of us are heading to KY Lake on the 21st and 22nd for a bachelor party..We'll be fishing all day Saturday and half the day Sunday and hope to find a few willing to cooperate....We'll be staying in Jonathan Creek and because most of the boats going don't have a GPS will probably stay in Jonathan...Anybody have any helpful tips? I will be keeping up with Dave's reports prior to heading down
I use the navonics app for my phone, works great, don't need a gps on the boat. 10 bucks isn't bad either IMO.
