What kind of cost am I looking at for a used 200 hp motor?

What a day, I just got the call my motor is blown and needs rebuilding at an estimated cost of $3000. The rebuild gives me a 90 day warranty. Can anybody tell me what kind of prices I would be looking at for a used 200 hp motor that is of the new type that either has a warranty or one i could buy a warranty on? Thanks everyone

Don't know what knid you had, merc. 'rude ect. But unless it pretty old, you won't find a 200 for that. There is a place in scottsville ky, that buys-sells used outboards, a buddy got a price for a 90 there for about $2,000. I don't know the name or exact location of it. Give Ricky's Marina in Monticello a call 606-348-0164. He rebuilds 150's with a 90 day warranty for around $1500. Not sure what he would charge for 200's. Hope this helps.
