Good luck, I have fished Green a number of times and most of the fish have been KY bass. Not many big fish but for KY bass there are some good ones. Spinner baits have worked well in the area around Pikes ridge but this time of year I would stay on the points and fish a little deeper, The water can be very clear so stick to the lightest line you can get by with and be ready to pick up a Musky.

I run the USA Bassin Green River Lake division. I assume you're talking about our June 30th tournament? Looking forward to seeing you out there! Summer time fishing on Green can be tough, but there are fish to be caught. In the summer, the early morning bite is important because once the sun gets up the bite can really dry up. This is especially true if you are dealing with a clear sky and light wind. We usually are fishing drops and ledges with special attention to finding brush at the right depth. I wish I could tell you what depths will be best, but that is a constantly changing thing, especially in June. My guess is that we'll be fishing 14-20 feet... but it could be more or it could be less. Some people do well with deep running crankbaits, but I prefer soft plastics on the ledges and drops. The water on the main lake will be clear.

The other tactic that can usually produce a small limit is to go up in the river (go right leaving the ramp and keep going til you go under a bridge). The water up that way will have more color and you can flip rocky banks, wood, laydowns, etc. For several anglers in our division (myself included) if we are struggling on the main lake we head up there to try to get a few small keepers.

I will be on the water the friday before that tournament. If you want current conditions or how our fishing was feel free to call my cell (its on the USA Bassin web site) after 4 PM EDT. As a reminder, we always go out at safe light. For the June and July tournements this will be 5:45 -5:50 AM EDT. The USA Bassin system does not allow us to enter 'Safe Light' as a start time, so the start time on the site is my best guess at the time of scheduling. Registration for the tournament will be kept open until at least 5:30 AM EDT.
