Well I just returned from my trip to Nolin a little earlier than planned. 15 mins into fishing and somehow the head of my trolling motor snapped, the part that has the arrow on it telling you which direction your going. The plastic was destroyed and had no use of my trolling motor.

So I then shot to Barren this evening hoping to try for some hyrbrids trolling. After about 2 hours I didnt catch anything. At dark I noticed my lights wouldnt come on but my depth finder was working. Everytime i hit the light switch it kicked my depth finder off and the aerator wouldnt come on. Im guessing my battery was just getting a little too low. No big deal. I have a black light the suctions to the boat and has a regular light on it which I figured was plenty bright enough to alert boaters. Well about one minute later it falls off the side of the boat and all I can do is watch it sink out of reach.

Nothing went right at all on this trip. I hope the minn kota dealer tells me they can fix the trolling motor. Most importantly, the boat ran good and I made it home safe. But this trip sucked. I hope this is the worst cause I can't imagine it getting it much worse than this. Im a little better, had to vent I guess.
