My Fords have been rock solid, no mechanical issues, smooth ride, great at towing, and better gas mileage...although I'm not a huge fan of the transmission in my current 2010 F150.
I haven't had a Toyota or a Nissan.
As much smack as gets talked about "Buying American" or one brand being better than another, I honestly think that they're all about the same.
I'm at a point in my life now where I realize that buying new trucks is dumb, especially every couple of years like I have done since I was out of high school. I'm sticking with my current Ford until the wheels fall off and the payments are done, whichever comes first. haha I do think Ford has had a great marketing strategy, puts out good products, and it was favorable that they didn't have to take a bailout from the government. I'm a Blue Oval fan.
