I guess my retirement plans just went to hell.
Thank you for EFFING up my future and the future of every American for decades to come.
BRILLIANT..........simply BRILLIANT.
And in the same swoop of their BRILLIANCE.........they shot down the stolen valor act. WOW.
So, lets force people to buy insurance, and at the same time, LETS protect their LIES as free speech.
I'm about to PUKE.
Later,

I'm completely stunned.
I completely expect my taxes in the future to climb by at least 10%.
Actually, I expect my company to drop my insurance any day now.
America as we use to know it has gone straight to Hell. This socialist ******* is gonna bankrupt all of us.
I can't stand this POTUS and am upset with the SCOTUS (sounds alot like scrotum...how appropriate) but wanna know what this decision means. Trust me when I read this I sat back and shook my head in disbelief. I'm disappointed that things have come to this and when crap like this is upheld as constitutional it will take an act of congress (pun intended) to repeal it.
Is this decision good news for the potus? Maybe not, sure he has his way but the last I checked it wasn't all that popular of a decision. He and his puppet masters wanted it. Maybe Romney and the GOP can start to explain what this means to us tax payers. Maybe if they expose some serious schemes deep inside this catalog of a law people might understand whats going to happen soon.
Already heard that Unions and other groups have opted out. True or not I don't know but my point is now this law can be exposed for the potential ironic clauses. Unions are in the dems back pocket so if they opted out...why? Special treatment?
Like I said I'm upset with the decision based on the things I have read and heard while this was being pushed since ding dong has been in office but I'm ready to see the faults exposed on the campaign trail while there is coverage. Debates, talk shows and so on will beat this to death and I want to hear this stuff. Right now I feel we all have been bent over!! The cost of this thing and the simple fact that federal gubment is now (or later) going to dictate healthcare. They cannot run anything without screwing it up and now they have another means of taking money from me as they see fit.![]()
Come on,Don. Tell us how you really feel. By the way, I could not have stated it any better than you just posted.
DJD this thought just came to me as I read your post. They only found it constitutional because it is a tax not a penalty on the individual mandate. Can a group be excluded from a tax? You can earn a tax credit but it has to be for anyone who would qualifies and this potus just excluded a small group from this bill. Of course he said all along this was not a tax until he got to the Supreme Court and then he argued it was a tax.
I'll give credit to him and his groupy of lawyers....they can play the system and the public better than anyone. Anyone think this is really going to be better for the united states? I don't.DJD this thought just came to me as I read your post. They only found it constitutional because it is a tax not a penalty on the individual mandate. Can a group be excluded from a tax? My conspiracy theory.... It's a trojan horse and as soon as it (if it is in its present form) implemented the next phase will start. Get the gubment healthcare system loaded with participants by laws and regulations meant to strangle the competition. The gubment doesn't have a budget so if they lose money (and they will...look at the postal service, SS, VA hospitals, public education and so on) they just raise taxes, cut services and before you know it they will be the main supplier of healthcare that will need rate increases to stay afloat. How often do we hear of the educational system being broke? Postal service closing offices and raising rates? Healthcare, if allowed to be controlled by folks who have no direct connection to making a profit will fail as well and thats what the gubment is. Layers and layers of folks who could care less about what you want. Sure there are some who care but they learn pretty quick how to work the system.
Abortions are legal so whats gonna happen if your on your death bed and need more time or treatment? Will there be some piece of paper that says oops sorry you had your allotted treatment based on your age, income and ability to contribute to the system?? I just cannot believe that anyone who keeps up with how the gubment works thinks this is a good idea.
Seems to me that the gubment needed this to have another tax stream so they can expand and thats all this is. Instead of fixing the fraud in insurance, lawsuits with a basic overhaul of how things are done they went for broke. So what happened to affordable healthcare from the 80's? Companies paid employee and family plans. Where did this all go wrong? Anyone know?
DJD
You said it fraud in the system Medicare and Medicaid and the trial lawyers found the gravy train, doctor's and hospitals had to CYA with extra test the malpractice insurance started to go through the roof cost started to go up insurance rates started to go up to cover cost, people dropped insurance because it was to expensive. The government cut their pay to hospitals and to doctor's for medicaid and medicare so doctors and hospital providers had to raise their rates to make up for their ever raising malpractice insurance and the money they could not collect. It soon started to spiral out of control. It is a mess and what Obama has given us will make it more expensive and we will have less medical care.
So if I disobey the law and do not buy health care insurance, will then send me to jail where my health care will be free?
here is a little something to read about Obama's insurance plan........Starting this year, insurance companies would be barred from denying coverage to children because of pre-existing conditions. Effective when the bill is signed, they will also be prevented from placing lifetime caps on policies, or from dropping a patient's insurance if he or she gets sick.In the next three months, "high risk pools" will be established for those who who have pre-existing conditions, to provide safeguards until all the provisions are fully enacted. Also this year, insurance companies would be required to cover preventive services, which includes such medical procedures as vaccines that are recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.By 2014, insurance companies will be prohibited from denying coverage to adult patients with pre-existing medical conditions or charging them more because of these conditions. In a move that has made many college students and young Americans happy, the health care bill allows parents to keep their children on their insurance plan until the age of 26. That provision takes effect this year.
Yep......and THOSE that pay for insurance will have increased premiums to PAY for this:here is a little something to read about Obama's insurance plan........Starting this year, insurance companies would be barred from denying coverage to children because of pre-existing conditions.
