Even as a civilian, if I was armed and found myself in a situation where a gunman opened fire on innocents, I would feel obligated to try to stop him. I know I'm not trained for it, and I know it's not what LEO's would tell me to do in the situation....but I don't think I could stand by while innocent folks were killed by a crazed gunman. I could hide, or I could draw and fire back, trying to stop the threat.

LEO's are trained for it. For them to get instructions like that is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Then why don't they tell the police and firemen not to respond to 911 calls because it could be dangerous. Why don't they care about there safety?
