Boston and Chicago.........Off my list of places to visit. NO MORE GEO dollars there

I cannot believe the mayors of these cities are using DISCRIMINATION against Christians and plan on denying permits to Chick-Fil-A.

I'm sorry, but GUBMENT does not have the right to do this.

I hope Chick-Fil-A sues Boston and Chicago, and the mayors and EVERYONE individually involved with the denial of any permits.

    Later,

    geo

I really don't understand the big hullabaloo over this deal.

So, the owners of Chick-Fil-A, who are Christians and operate on a foundation of Christian principles, oppose gay marriage. There's a newsflash. Big deal. A lot of businesses are ran by people who are Christian and don't believe in gay marriage. A lot of businesses are also ran by those who are in favor of gay marriage. What does it matter? People boycotting Chick-Fil-A over an owner's beliefs as a Christian are just dumb.

To me, it's a completely irrelevant non-issue until someone is denied a chicken sandwich at the register because they support gay marriage. When Alice walks in with her flannel shirt unbuttoned just enough that you can see her rainbow tee-shirt and is told to hit the door, because "we don't serve your kind here," then holler back at me...that stuff gets real. That's just discrimination and bigotry and it's wrong. Until then, it's all bunch of mouth-diarrhea to me.

From a purely business perspective, I think the leader of Chick-Fil-A is an idiot. They make chicken sandwiches. In my opinion, they should stick to making chicken sandwiches instead of trying to preach to me about what's right and what's wrong. He has his principles and likes to be vocal about them...well, good for him. But, as a business leader it's not real smart to piss all over a big part of your customer base (those who believe in gay marriage) with these comments that are not related to business and give groups a reason to not like you, unless you've decided that you don't want their business. In such case, you should probably get out of the trying-to-make-money business and open a church for God's sake. I don't have to like you or agree with how you live your life to sell you a product, take your money, and make a profit that helps support my employees and family and church. Dude needs to shut his chicken-chomper, in my opinion, unless he wants to sell less chicken.

I dont see anything wrong with denying anyone service. I'm sure Mr. Chicken Chomper finds Mr **** packer and Ms Skillet Licker repulsive.
Does he not deserve the right to serve whomever he chooses over their lifestyle or personal choices?
Should he not be able to refuse service to a geeked out crackhead or a slobbering drunk?

Sure, it's his right as a private business to deny service to whomever he wants...but he hasn't done that. Until he does, this is a bunch of people boycotting a company because the owner is a Christian who doesn't believe in gay marriage...and that's all.

Comparing a gay person to a crackhead or a slobbering drunk is kind of sad. I may not agree with the gay lifestyle myself, but I believe that people ought to be able to live life as they so choose, as long as it isn't against the law or endangering somebody else.

I think Chick-Fil-A will be ok. I don't see these idiotic mayors having their way. Especially since Cathy said he supports traditional marriage not that he doesn't like same sex marriage. These tyrants are over stepping their authority.
Plus all this press for them is gonna help them. This stuff will be blow over and they will keep on building in and around Chicago or Boston. Kinda think it's a bunch of posturing by the Liberals to pander to the group they want votes from. Plus the mayor of Chicago??? None other than little Rahm Emanuel!!! That little waste of skin!
Cities granted Muslims their buildings even though alot of the public didn't approve but yet it's ok now since it against a Christian business? A simple opinion against the liberal belief system warrants an effort to harm a business??? Really? Talk about a double standard.

Of course i'm not comparing a crackhead or slobbering drunk to homosexuality. Substance abuse can be successfully treated.

Yep He can do what he wants. But in the mean time its a tasty chicken sandwich. Is my daughter's favorite place to eat. The service is very impressive. I can go there in uniform and not worry about what is being done to my food. Great place great food and service.

Ryan I never thought of that. I guess that could be a problem if some punk is fixing the food?
