Barren @ Night

I was just looking for some advice for Barren at night. I have seen and heard different stuff the last couple weeks. I was just wondering if i should run up to the river or stay around state park and fish back in some coves??? any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

Barren is extremely crummy right now head up to catch fish the further the better

fishing is slow, not many bites, not even from short fish. Catch one sporadically here and there, but it's not worth the 5 mile drive for me to go.
