lol no Tim I haven't had a drink in quite a while.

Boy I know the scoreboard does not reflect it but UK played pretty solid. Had a 17-7 lead at halftime.

I think it shows how good this team can be especially with M.Smith going out on the first series and the ture freshman with no experience having to come in.

Lots of positives to take from this game.

Only thing I didn't like was how they abandoned the run game so quickly in the 2nd half. Their first series of the 2nd half the run game didn't work so they quit on it right there. But man that offensive line was on a mission last night. Don't know if I have ever seen a UK O-line play so good,,,considering all the hype around SC's defense and line.

I see a endless potential for this team which is stacked with 1st and 2nd year guys.

According to Tuesday's Courier Journal.

Joker Phillips is not going to red shirt true freshman Patrick Towles (spelling?). Towles will get his first live action this Saturday against MSU.

CJ says Towles is a 6'5 242lb QB that was ranked in the national top ten coming out of high school. Last season at High Lands High School he had 44 touchdowns to one interception and 15 rushing touchdowns. Won 39 of 40 games in his career.

In the article his high school coach compared him to Tom Brady!!! lol

Poor Uk lost both of their best QB's.

They play the Hogs in Arkansas this week with darn John L coaching the hogs.
Whitlow will be starting. Didn't look too good against MSU last week going 10 of 21, no picks and 73yards, 8 carries for 39. Got foot speed for sure but hasn't showed much on making quick reads and managing the game. I just pray he doesn't get hurt too and that they won't have to go back with fig newton. Newton must of just had his thumb up his rear all preseason, he looks completely lost and high on narcotics when he has had to come in.




Speaking of hogs, guy at work lives in Fair Dale, his yard backs up to Jefferson Forest, he's got trail cameras set up.
The other day he came to work with a picture of a big ol nasty hog he got off one of them trail cameras.
