anyone know what water temp is at nolin,and is the topwater bite doing any good my father is wanting to go for a few days,but 250 miles away want to know to if its worth the drive any info would help a grea deal .mike

I was there Saturday. 71 early warmed up to around 74 in the afternoon. Just FYI, the bass bite has been extremely tough on Nolin for about the last 3 or 4 weeks. You would have to ask someone else about crappie.
