I dug this up a few nights ago to defend some of my positions......I'm not going to rehash them. NO matter what side of the fence you're on, you've been LIED to by someone. Obama Lies, Bush Lies, Romney Lies......even war heroes like McCain Lies......

Look at the numbers and choose for yourself. To me, it is crystal clear.

Thanks Geo, been looking for something like this.

As a sceptic, now all I have to decide is how much faith I put in the numbers and what side of the isle produced them.

I agree "Liars Figure" just as much as "Figures Lie".

In my civil service career I recall a number of times when things were going good, and I presented the numbers to show that impact, only to have a senior exec type decide he wanted a negative connotation to be concluded from the numeric facts. And just as many times when the numbers and truth supported a program was not doing well and needed revision or to be scraped if not revised, the senior folks who had their name attached to said program decided what the numbers "ought positively conclude".

Just saying, it can and does happen.
