Anybody been crappieing the last couple of days?

Just wondered if anybody has any updates on crappie fishing form the last couple of days? The weather has been trying at best.

Spent Friday, Saturday, & Sunday on Green River Lake. probably caught well over 100 Crappie, with a 4:1 ratio of dinks to keepers. Most caught in 15-20fow, close to the bottom & close to wood/brush. Minnows were the main bait used, but we did catch some jigging plastics ... just not as many or as fast as when using minnows. Kept & cleaned around 30 .... ranging in size from 9" keepers up to 12" fish.
IMHO ... not too shabby considering a near 40 degree temp drop, strong North winds all three days, and a cold rain Friday night into Saturday morning. And we weren't the only ones catching fish, and several others we talked to had better creels & bigger average sized fish.

Friday, skunk. Caught 4 bass, 1 bluegill. Saturday, caught around 40 crappie. Had 20 keepers 9-12". Fished brush piles 15-20' deep. Fished with float/minnows around 12-14' deep and with jigs. Fishing was slow. Windy and cold. Could not find fish shallow.
