    why?

yesterday in the waiting room at the doctors office, I was busy reading my large print library book[my reading glasses were in the truck], I noticed another patient squinting at a "kindle". This morning at the library I mentioned that to the person who was checking me out, and she beamed that loves hers. Library books are free, but then I remembered, I'm one of those free loaders, who thinks the goverment should let me read books for almost free. I felt so ashamed that I only ordered one new stephan king book

You may be missing the point and advantages of a kindle. Women can put that in their purse easier than some books. You can get wifi Internet access, read easier if your out in the wind and I'm sure there are other advantages. I'm not a big book reader so I don't frequent the library that much unless I'm traveling a lot and then I just get books on tape or cd.

    probably

There may be many advantages, I believe there is a feature[guessing] that lets you change font size. When we traveled we would sometimes get a current novel on tape, and trade them.I don't know what it is, but I was always an avid reader, my first wive, didn't read much, my daughter now that the kids are both away at school says she is almost always with a book. My son seldom reads. My second wife would read a phone book in a pinch. My current squeeze, is now in bed reading, listening to me peck away after I got the dishes done[this broken arm crap is wearing thin]

Can you download a coloring book on a Kindle? If so, when you've completed the book, doesn't it take a lot of time to clean the crayon off the screen?

Does Playboy qualify as a downloadable book? Can Kindle really tell if it's a hard bound book or a magazine?

The last book I read cover to cover...was the one that came from the bank when I bought my boat. I read a little every month until I finished it. Now, for some reason, the bank doesn't want it back, and all the good parts are gone....go figure.
