Cedar Creek/Herrington!!

Went our yesterday and it was beautiful. Started at Cedar Creek for about 4 hours with no luck. Used night crawlers and some SLOW beetle spins. SKUNKED. We left and went over to herrington lake and fished but it is LOW! We tried to catch something with some shad but we didn't get anything but more fresh bait. There were shad everywhere and luckily I had my cast net with me! I have some fresh (somewhat) bait for the winter so the trip was not a waste.

Went to Herrington yesterday also. It was very slow for me, I managed one small KY and lost a possible keeper largemouth. I couldn't decide between Herrington or Cedar but decided on Herrington. I wondered all day if Cedar would have been better. Thanks for your post, seems that Cedar would have been about the same, lol.
