Smalljaw and I are tryng to make some plans for fishing this weekend. I would love to catch some sauger or walleye or maybe crappie some place. Anybody want to give up their special place?
If not we may be confined to lake "E".... Not that that is a bad problem to have... I would just rather try something a little different. Thanks for any help

McAlpine is on fire right now.
Where is Mcalpine?
Mouth of Silvercreek is hot too
Silvercreek in Louisville too?
I've got a family member that says he fishes the OH River below the dam (somewhere around Louisville) but most of the Sauger are only 8-10 inches. Is that what one can expect to catch there, or are they pretty good fish?
I've been catching some nice ones from fossil beds. Been seeing a lot of nice ones caught from boats too. Biggest today was three lbs
At the McAlpine we have been catchin sauger barely under 4lb. Most are 16-18inches. Had one 3lb 12oz 21.5 inches that was our biggest.
McAlpine in right off 65 at exit 0 in Indiana
There are a few being caught below Meldahl Dam.
