UK Coaches......Why

Mark Stoops is in Lexington 2 hours and already throws a mud clodd at UofL.

When asked would you be coaching FS in the bowl game, he replied..

Yes to some degree, I will be helping them in any way I can...especially if they are playing Louisville.
Here's my question, do you think the new hires are told to throw these jabs? It seems every one of them do it, heck Stoops did it within a few hours. Why not worry about your own miserable failing program and quit being Matt ''The Tranny'' Jones and just coach your team. I don't get this mentality and never will. I think that is for the fans, not for coaches who should act like adults. UK football is in the bottom of the outhouse and he's talking about Louisville, LOL......

I think it's just a product of a known rivalry and pandering to the fans.

If you took the head coaching job at North Carolina, you might throw a jab at Duke in your presser.

If you took the head coaching job at Ohio State, Michigan might come up. (Did Urban Meyer mention Michigan in his acceptance presser? I don't know.)

Etc, etc.

Personally, I think Mr. Stoops has much more important things to worry about than trying to be cute and earn brownie points with the fan base. I'd do that with some novel concepts like bringing in players, coaching them into ballers, and winning a few games. LOL

Just like in politics..... Instead of having folks focus on your faults you sling mud as a diversion.

Yes to both of you gentlemen, kinda where I was going I guess. If I was in that postion, dang I wish I was. I would try and steer clear of that junk and focus on the task at hand.
