Hit cumberland yesterday, weather was perfect!!! Overcast, Light wind and a little snow. We did not get on the water as early as planned, it was around 9am when we made our first cast. Did not seem to matter though, as we were getting bites until we left in the afternoon. We decided to fish an area of the lake that we had not been on much before. Fished mainly around the mouths of major creeks on points and channel bends. We fished mainly the Fly and manged 10 fish total with the biggest just at 20". Marked bait in most areas that we fished with the exception of some sheltered pockets. It would appear the bait was on the move.
Most of the fish came on transitions prior to points or bends with leaders in the 10' to 12' range. Not too many boats out yesterday and a great day for fishing.
Nice post fellas. Hey Michael is that your new rig, nice looking boat.
