Saturday the winter conditions were here, mid lake saw water temp at 47.2, we had blowing snow, cloudy and near freezing all day, ( by weeks end if the forcasters are right we could see water temps below 45), Obie an Wolf area lake is clear an rising. Only boated a couple small fish. Today it was glass like water, bluebird high sky. I boated a couple nice fish maybe 6 fish this afternoon. Was able to keep the live-bait in 30-35 ft. depth drifting near the channel.

Fished all day yesterday, pretty slow for us. One about 3 and one over 4. Rick, I called you Saturday evening.

Couldn't find fish where I normally do. Usually a few marks on the electronics, yesterday nada.

Jim I found your message sunday morning about 10 as I was walking out the dock. Winter fishing, I have had to adjust to using patience this winter, its been extremely tuff, I made a deal w/a Houseboat neighbor on the dock he keeps us in bait, and until last week pickings are slim.
so my useless cell phone will be replaced soon, if things ever improve this winter ill email you.

I keep trying because a big fish may come along, good luck to all, and Happy New Year
