    Dale

Are fishing topics allowed here? I'll chance it.

Fished Dale Hollow hard all day yesterday (a tad airish early on) and only had 2 fish. I had one about 3 and my bud had one over 4. I remember it well because he reminded me about that all the way home. We were in my sled, so he demanded a refund on guide fees also.

Anybody do any better over there?

Tell him Guide Fees are not refundable and ask him for your "tip"

Dale has been really funky this year. I've been 5 times and will probably go a couple more times this winter. Out of those 5 trips, I've had 1 day that I can call stellar. All other days, we were lucky to catch 5-6 fish, and not very many of those were top quality fish.

In those 15 days of fishing, I've only caught 1 over, or seen or heard of 1 over.........It has been tough.

    Hopefully, it will get better.

    Later,

    Geo

Ups and downs with fishing Geo, that's the way it goes I guess.

I did ask for my tip, El. He said some very uncomplimentary things then called me a part of the female anatomy. I responded in kind with derogatory things about himself and his family tree. Dysfunctional behavior, but it works for us.

In my best Samuel L. Jackson..........I'd pull the truck over, and tell him to the bleeep out.........mother bleeper......

You can fill in the bleep blanks, if you know how Samuel L. Jackson would respond

Ive been a few times this winter also and its unusually tough even for those of us throwing live bait. The past few years 30 fish days were the norm until it got really cold then we'd still manage 10 or 15. Only had one day with over 10 fish this year and the average size is way down. We're yet to catch an over and aren't catching many of the usual 18-20"ers. Hopefully itll rebound next year as i expect the water to get really cold shortly and make the fishing even tougher
