Has anyone been to newton lake lately? Or heard anything about it? Gonna try and take the new ride out there next weekend

I was out there thursday and friday dec 27 with a buddy, water at the ramp was 50 something. the morning was slow for us but the afternoon i lit it up with a homemade jig. friday i didnt do good, lost two pigs and my buddy caught some small ones and one 17 incher. good luck. thursday i had 3 over 3 pounds and one over 4. the fish were on steap banks.
