    The future of Louisville football

Is so bright it is blinding. Take the dominating performance last night and put the team in perspective. Out of 22 starters, 19 will return next year, 16 are sophomores (including Teddy Heisman). Also take into account that the leading rusher from last season (Dominique Brown) and the leading receiver from last season (Michaelee Harris) both missed the entire season due to injuries. In the next couple of years they will compete with the upper echelon of college football.

Catfish Bob, now you see why I said UK will not beat Louisville for at least two more years, I don't care if you ressurect Bear Bryant to coach the Cats.

Their future is so bright they aren't wearing shades they need a Welding helmet. Quick is coming now and will tell Meyer at OS sorry, I'm staying home.....watch and see.

    Recruiting just went into ORBIT...
Coach Strong did not need to leave to be at the top, I have been saying it and said it when Bagdad Bobby was here. The NT is obtainable, very obtainable right here at Louisville. If Florida doesn't drop that game to Georgia this year they are playing for the National title...fact.
Also a fact..............Louisville whipped them like a rented Government Mule.

Easy boys.....coming from a Louisville fan....until they can prove themselves in a decent conference they are not at the top. They still don't belong in the wakes of Florida, Alabama, ND etc. Florida did not show up to play and they got lucky. You have to remember they lost 2 games this year and our schedule was pathetic 131st in the nation. However, they are bringing home the trophy so consider them lucky.

I am still trying to figure out what a decent conference is....I keep hearing the SEC is good, but I am not so sure. After all, the Louisville football season started and ended in the same fashion, with blowout wins over SEC teams.

Come on now...enjoy the win but don't get crazy!! The SEC is very very good but I believe as the coaches leave the SEC for other conferences they can pull some good talent especially if they are good at their job like Strong is.

The BE was dogged so much by ESPN because there was no contract for football. Dru Deaner was at the game and on the sideline and said FLA wanted it but just looked like a bunch of thugs. They tried to bait the Cards in the smack talk and fighting but they did not bite.
