Mon 7th at Dale

After a couple days with little to no success, today I was able to put several fish in the boat. Water temp around Lilly Dale was 46 plus, high sky and little to no wind. With live bait I drifted the flats out to the channel by Lilly Dale, only landed one nice LM.
Talked with another boat who had put 3 fish in the boat with some success in the grass.
Remembering Pointer' post he had found some fish the day b4 in grass. Headed to a grassy hump, while sitting in 25ft of heavy grass , throwing toward channel, it all paid off putting all but one of these in the boat from one spot. Biggest fish just b4 dark on a slight cut on the end of Phillips, in the grass. Pics will be added tonight

You earned those fish; you are out there almost every day and you share a lot of information Thanks for the info I don't get to fish Dale much but I find your post here and at smalljaw very interesting.

Did your anchor come from Bass pro and was the rope already tied on the rock or did they just ship the rock and you had to tie the rope on?????

Im one 80$ anchor short, 3to5 20$ anchors short, all in less than 12 months.


has not been a good year, Thank goodness my dock neighbors are absent for the winter because the next one I lose wont be mine
