Let me start by saying the style an method I use (Live-Bait drifting an bottom fishing) the past 2 days conditions have been near perfect, no wind, misty w/cloud cover and mild temps. Winter fishing you will find when mother nature chips in your chances double easily, so dont beat yourself to death over winter strike outs.
Started the morning with a double, that set the tempo, for the early morning bite. Fished the Obey, some of these fish were coming up on a mid lake hump. I caught some on the deep side over 30 on the bottom, about as many up on the top of the hump in less than 20ft. There is some stain in this area from the recent rain, temp is 45.6,.
The first pic should be from yesterday, it look like a day you would get your arm broke but I struggled.
Today a misty cloud cover mild, no wind As always its plain to see I duplicated some pic's Id say I caught a good 5-6 fish off this hump, Live bait
Started about 7:45 and was done 10:45, then I was out of fish. I'm seeing healthier solid fish more an more, as each day passes.
