    Lake Cumberland Area?

    Lake Cumberland area?

My wife and I are looking to lease a camper lot at or near Lake Cumberland. I have looked at 3 on the internet, Wolf Creek Resort, Pinecrest Resort and Timber Pointe. Anyone have any knowledge of either of these places or recommend another?

I haven't been in a couple years, but I always enjoyed Pinecrest. Many a night in one of those cabins eating chili and getting the feeling back in my fingers and toes.

Timber Pointe gets a HIGH FiVE! Have stayed there a couple of times. The Pines is an old mom/pop the went out of business a couple of years ago.

Grider Hill Dock has a nice campground that has yearly sites.

There is a place on hwy 127 on the south side of the lake on the left. Might now be real easy to find. It is closer to the dam than it is to Grider Hill. If you can't find it PM me and I will ask a friend that has a spot there for the name. Knowing my friend I am assuming it is a good place and priced right.
