Say what you want about uk but hes the only guy who has brought it every single game. Hes putting up ridiculous numbers across the board and carrying the team. Have you ever saw a guy who only scored 2 points have the kind of impact he did in the win tonight over ole miss. Im not saying hes the best player in the country but hes turning into a solid force in the middle

Steven he seemingly blocks or at least alters every shot taken in the paint. His ability to get off the floor and get after the ball is scary good. He needs a short jumper and he struggles finishing after contact. He could use 25 to 30 lbs on his very fragile looking frame. Will he go out this year.................maybe purely because of defense if he does. I think he'll be back next year which is good for UK.

He's also still too thin, but he's already bulked up a lot from when he got to UK.

He's put on 30-40 since he arrived on campus, not sure where but thats what they say. He needs somebody that can rebound the weak side when he comes to help. Getting wcs back will either make or break this team down the stretch

...but did you catch the pregame camera shot at the end of the Ohio State - Wisconsin game? Nerlens had a tobogan on and it looked rediculous covering his high flat top fade. It was only covering his hair didn't even get close to his ears........

Oh, and flat top or no flat top, he's GLAMF at the end of this season. No question. Done. He is scary-quick to get off the floor and block/alter shots. His ability to create steals and turnovers on the defensive side is very impressive. In both of those categories, I put him on par (maybe even slightly better) than Anthony Davis, who will go down as one of the greatest to ever wear the blue and white. Nerlens just has no real offensive threat. He's soft, I agree that he can't finish through contact, and needs to eat some more. If he had that, he would be all-world like AD was.

Also, "Nerlens Noel" sounds like a Christmas Parade on Bourbon Street.

Noel or Omeka Okefor that used to play for UCONN? Excuse the spelling.
Both were talented on the defensive end but not overly compelling on the offensive end.

Okafor has stuck in the league because he can defend, rebound, and get you 10-15 garbage points a night...Nerlens will make it in the league as his game develops....Hard to remember that he's actually supposed to be a high school senior right now....once he figures out the 15ft jumper he'll be good to go and has what it takes to make an all nba defensive team...He doesn't just block shots, his steals are off the chart for a center and if you'll notice he's most usually in the right spot defensively
