I'm for anyone regardless of gender, race or sexual orientation. If they are committed to lead and stop with the daily, weekly and monthly intrusions on what I consider sacred in this country then I'm all for them. It sure would be nice not to see or read on the news how someone is attempting to take something away from me like more taxes because of their own ineptness. Or trying to restrict something from me as a free man living a law abiding life. Gubment should get back to the things they were hired to do. Running the talk show circuit, being on Sportscenter and hobnobbing with hollywood elite does nothing for me but make me resentful toward them.

I feel like the office of potus has become a royalty position and it doesn't have to be. A good strong leader can actually gain MONSTER respect with leading by example. For instance, the potus could say... my family and I will not be taking a vacation this year because we feel the pain of the country and don't think its right to shove the milllions of dollars of cost onto the tax paying people of this great country, we are in this together. Or we will not allow Congress to get a raise since they are not doing a good job and are mostly responsible for the mess we are in, we are in this together. Things like that would galvanize the country, especially the tax payers, in an effort to right this ship. Leading by example is the most important virtue of a leader. Unfortunately we don't have it anywhere.

I also wish I would read about how our leaders have a valid plan to fix whats wrong with the economy or foreign affairs.

So if "that" future person that runs for office has some of these ideas I'll be listening closely.

Any pokitician will tell you he's 100% commited to all the things you mentioned. But if you believe him. most of the time you'll have a broken heart.In all my life, I cant remember a president having more than 65% popularity, for any lenght of time.By now you must be aware that no one can make everyone happy[legaly].Media exposure,we almost demand it.If Tom cruise poops, people want to know what it smells like. Thats why TV is on 24/7, to sate some folks curiosity, and to sell products. Candidates are selling themselves.None of them will tell you thier weak points.
