So what if Deb Feyerick is an idiot on astronomy? It's not like she's ever been a science correspondent, and she's not even really an "anchor." AND at least she's not in the position of voting on legislation that affects every American, unlike the idiot on the Right who said that a woman's body has a way of "shutting down" and preventing pregnancy if she's raped.

It is a very political issue, and CNN should be extremely embarrassed by their correspondent saying such a foolish thing.
Personally, I think they are all IDIOTS in one way or another. Fox news has quite a bit of them too...

The sad part about this is she asked it because she prolly thought it was true. I'm willing to bet alot of other folks think this anyway. She was just the dufus who stuck her foot in her mouth on national TV. That bothers me more that anything...people who want to live green or not harm this or that to the point of ignorance or nonsense believe anything can cause global warming or global warming causes everything. I think I heard that global warming causes people with assault style rifles to go crazy....well I read it on CNN

So Geo, what's the real DEAL ON GLOBAL WARMING? Is it science or politics? Know you always have an opinion and invite you to present it here. but I would appreciate it if you support your hypothesis with direct scientifically acquired knowledge or at a minimum, with creditable references. (Hint--Fox News does not count).

Can we stop it?...................no
Do we add to the problem?...yes
The worst contributor to global warming is likely mother nature as Mr. Fisher said... I don't know how anybody that has been an adult for 40 or 50 years can deny that we contribute to the problem, we use to see smog alert, blue haze that you could actually see in this part of the country, we don't see much of that anymore so we must have made changes to our way of doing business somewhere and it seems to have made a difference... I don't know how much money we should spend on the problem but the money we have spent has given us some return it seems.
