    UK and Gators

As a Gator fan I loved the game. As a fan of sports I hated to see Noel go down like that. I hope he is ok for his sake first and foremost and of course for the team second. He seems like a quality young man and I wish the best for him.

I hate it for the kid...

UK's season is over without him. But, I'll gladly forgo a run in the NCAA tourney if it means the guy doesn't have a career-altering injury.

I think our run, if it even happened, would have been a short one anyway.

I've just chalked up 2012-2013 as an off season, waiting for next years troops and a different team dynamic.

I really dislike Goodwin and Poythress...a lot.

Goodwin and Poythruss act like a couple of trust fund college kids knowing their Daddy will make it all ok no matter what they do. There are Davis and MKG that have all the talent but also work their AZZES off and then these 2 cupcakes just waiting for David Stern to say and with the 17th pick of the 2013 NBA Draft from Kentucky , Alex Goodwin Poythruss. Put in Jon Hood, I expect him to **** but at least he will **** while giving an effort.

Hate it for Nerlens, hope he doesn't have an injury to ruin his career. I'm with Split in that its worth the season for him to still have a career. He hustles his butt off

Here comes the NIT but just like 1996 and 1998, two banners in 2012 and 2014 with one year in between

I hate it for Nerlens since he was the only one playing hard this year, but this team was still terrible even with him.

I hate to see a kid get hurt like that. This could be and I hope I'm wrong a life changing event. It looked bad and the way he was screaming in pain that hurt real real bad.

I hope he gets through this and it wasn't nearly as bad as it seemed...

Not a kat fan at all but I HATE to see a kid get hurt. It does seem like he is a good kid. Hope he can back and play next year.

I read torn ACL, MCL and possibly PCL...Regardless, I hope he gets back to what he was and doesn't become one of those "what if" stories....I think he'll still be a top 5 pick in the draft this year because most of the high drafting teams are looking at the long term and not for a quick fix to make them championship contenders

i agree...this season turned out to be a dud in my book....i think poythress and goodwin really hurt the team in alot of ways...lack of motivation, bone head errors, and lack of trust in teammates.....but the plus side is that the group that's coming in next year is completely different.....the harrisons play very intelligently and aggressive...marcus lee, who i believe is the most underrated big man in the '13 class...has the potential to come in and be rebounding and blocking machine (3 triple doubles so far this year along with numerous 20-20 games)...james young as a legimate jump shooter and 3 point threat...and dakari johnson, another big man to come in and fill up the lane...derek willis i believe will ride the bench for his first three years....but all in all its shaping up to be a great year coming up...not to mention getting wiltjer stein harrow to come back to give us some additional depth.....but with all that said...still stinks to see nerlens go out like that...just hope this doesn't lead to him catching the greg oden syndrome

That really s%^$s I just had a chance to read the headlines on espn. As a fan of both the cards and the cats, I should be used to injury's but figured as lucky as the cats have been avoiding the injury bug in the past it was eventually going to get them...it did. And in a big way.
