We haven't felt the full impacts yet. The cuts as of 1 March are for the upcoming fiscal quarter. A lot of feds are still burinng the last of their 2nd QTR $$$$ (Jan-Mar).

I do agree, cutting is better than taxing to keep control govt spending in check and work on the deficit. Ya know when Obama accepted his nomination to run for POTUS the first time, he said he wanted to cut taxes for 95% of Americans. I'm still waiting..........

He was going to go line by line remember. Now he is offered the opportunity to do that and he says Na baby na. He wants to put all the blame on the Repubs even though it was his idea. The libs have already won the argument because even Repubs refer to sequestration as "cuts". It isn't a cut. It is a reduction in the amount of the INCREASE! If we can't reduce the amount of the increase by 2 % than this country is doomed. Can you imagine what would happen if we actually CUT our budget by 2 %. Of course we don't have a budget that is required by law, but they can break the law, you better not. Greece here we come!

The super commitee was congresses plan. It was by partisan, and equally staffed bu dems and pubs.That plan was touted to be something that couldn't happen when SANE people got together. The tax increase, that satisfied the pubs affected >07% of the population. As far as I'm concerned let it go fully into effect. Any who thinks 22 weeks of budget cuts is going to solve our problems, has his head buried in his butt.

Tax revenues are at an all time high and BO still wants to raise more taxes. The average income has gone down, umemployment is up and he still wants to take. The White House spokesman said sequestration was their idea. Bob Woodward said it was BO's idea and at least one other Dem Rep. agreed, but the masses will say it was those evil Repubs. I heard today that a Government official asked the White House how he could make Sequestration easier on the people who work under him and they(the White House)have made the argument that sequestration was nearly the end of the world so they told him not to contradict them(Make it hurt). Let me get this straight, it is possible to increase spending at a slower rate and do it in a way that wont hurt, but the White House wants to make it hurt as much as possible and blame the repubs? Hmm, those evil repubs!

What if during the next election, nobody, I mean not one swinging Richard, voted for anyone. A total 100% boycott of the polls?

Let's all become totally apethethic, not vote at all, and show the Congress and POTUS that we as citizens are sick and tired of hearing one thing, voting for it, and then getting something else.
