Nope, not gonna do either of those, in fact I agree, and it's not racist, because not all of those crack ho's are black, or Hispanic, or any particular race. "Children live what they learn." If someone is raised to be this way, then they're going to raise they're children this way, what else can we expect? So my question is, how do we break the cycle? Being tough on crime makes everybody feel good, but throwing people in prison, then just turning them loose back on the streets with nothing when they've done their time, does nothing to solve the problem.

We are finding out the folly of "throw away the key" justice,We have the largest prison population of any country in the world. The death penalty does not work that well. The new solution[tada] privatly owned and operated prisons.They make "stuff" for resale, to the state and government.So we revert back to slave labor.What happens when prisoner X can't work anymore? Send them back to state prison, so here is the dilema. the taxpayers pay for the prosecution, the tax payers pay for incarceration, the medical care and feeding,the protection for and against the prisoners. There are not any ways to humainly treat this problem.We want and demand protection from crime. So the poor and mentaly ill pay the price. While the "legal swindlers" in business and finance walk. And we preach human rights to other countrys. Go figure

How many millionares are there in prison? How many belong there? The legal system isn't for poor saps.Lawyers dont work fpr IOUs. a simple second class felony the fee starts at 5000 before court.A public defender will only plea bargain. a friend of mine had a kid picked up with a bag of "ditch weed" thats commonin northern indiana.It probably had a street value of a buck a pound compared to the mexican good smuggled stuff. It cost over 15000 bucks to get a reduced charge trial.If this kid didn't have parents with cash, probably 5 years in jail. Look at OJ or Blake and that other movie guy with natalie woods.Money BUYS justice, poverty gets you jail time.
