Maybe it is just me, but the copy of that test looks altered. Looks as as if the paper was cut and taped together so that the answer on question number three was really an answer to a different question.
I'm so sad to see that this can be defended. People saying its true or as I have heard in the past that we deserved it really bothers me.
I agree, I have heard people say that as well and it really angers me.
If this is accurate the teacher should be held accountable, but after enlarging that picture IMO it looks altered so I will withhold judgment at this time.
Looks like where it was folded in half..........cannot really tell since we don't see the whole paper, but looks compelling to me...
I believe it, because LEFTISTS are pushing this **** all over America...
I dealt with something similar with my daughter and PETA.....they came into her school to talk about how hunting and fishing was bad for the animals. This was her 5th or 6th grade class......I remember because that was when she slowly stopped fishing with me.
I **** near sued the school system over that one.......

PETA came in to her school?
If that is true, a competent educator would provide both sides with an equal opportunity to a discussion.
However, I do realize how "left" leaning school administrators are these days so that only the "good" side is provided an opportunity to "educate" the children.
We are doomed.
That is awful, I would be outraged! First of all Peta aren't even educators they are fanatics. The school system should never have allowed them anywhere near a classroom. Did they also invite someone from the wildlife management depart, or at least a local game warden? I doubt it, but if I were you I think I would have gotten some parents together an demanded they do that for the sake of balance.I dealt with something similar with my daughter and PETA.....they came into her school to talk about how hunting and fishing was bad for the animals. This was her 5th or 6th grade class......I remember because that was when she slowly stopped fishing with me.
The sad part is sportsman actually help the the overall welfare of animals. Maybe they should have shown a movie of deer dying the horrible death of starvation in the winter time and explain how with few if any natural predators in most regions that countless deer would starve in winters if the population wasn't controlled.
Every time I read things like these it only makes me happier that we home school our children. It is a lot of hard work, and cost additional money, but it is well worth the investment of our time and money.
I am curious, did your daughter ever again take up fishing with you? My daughter is only six, and just started fishing a little last year. She lost a big one, that she has named "Big Rosemary" and insists we will go again this year together and she will catch her. Hopefully I will have a little better luck finding her and her brother some easy pan fish this season to grow their interest in the sport.
Oh well, I have digressed and gotten this thread of topic enough.
All I can say is kudos to the lady in the story. Like her, I'd be outraged by her school also teaching that food, shelter, and medical care is a government guaranteed right. The America where people believe in standing on their own 2 feet instead of looking for a nanny state is disappearing before our eyes.
That teacher should be fired and never allowed to teach again...Ever
OK here's the official response from the school district. Take it for what it's worth, or not worth. I'm not arguing on one side or the other, just putting this out there for everybody to see, since I don't think you guys are aware of it. I would copy/paste the text of it, but it's a .jpg image, so I can't. So here's a link:

How about those IDIOT teachers and supers actually read the content of the bull **** they are trying to feed our kids.
Do the damage, and then apologize for it.........yea, that sounds about right.
It is nothing new. You would be amazed by the stuff they teach. I went around and around with the public schools about their "teaching".
Why does PETA get preferencial treatment? How about next week we let a rep from Cabela's, Bass Pro, ****'s Sporting Goods, and Academy Sports deliver a lecture? Merc, Yammie, Johnson, Evinrude, and Honda get a shot too.
WOW, I got an idea.....let's teach our kids life is a matter of balance, fishing and hunting is okay when coordinated and regulated to inusre wildlife excess are reduced and populations remain in balance.
Lets instead focus on the school administration. Wait outside the school the night after PETA has delivered a lecture. Wait till the Principle comes out to go home. Attack him, handcuff him, then stick a Bass Pro sticker on his forehead, drop his drawers to his knees, and deliver him to the front of a Baptist Church in time for the next scheduled meeting.
