Fished nolin Saturday. I put in at bacon creek with intentions of white bass fishing but couldn't find any. A few people were catching a few but they said they were still deep. So I gave that up pretty early and ran towards wax. Picked up my jig rod and started smacking the large mouth. They were close to the bank but staying around deeper water. The steeper the bank the better the fishing was. I only fished for about 5 hours and had around 15 the biggest around 2 lbs so no giants, I hooked a few that felt pretty good but I didn't get a good hook set. All of the fish swam towards the boat when they picked the jig up. Water temp was 49 at bacon creek and 53 once I got past three fingers.
