Has anybody had any luck catching crappie from the dam at Calhoun to the mouth of Pond River? I have heard there is some decent fishing, but I have yet to catch one. Went there this morning and eventually gave up and tried for stripers but no luck with them either. Also, are there sauger below the dam at Calhoun? Like crappie, I've heard they exist but they seem to steer clear of my boat. Any help would be appreciated.
