    White bass report - Taylorsville

Went with my dad Sat 9am-1PM in search of some white bass in Salt river. Started at the quarry by the bridge walked the river just past the paved parking lot. ZERO, zilch. There wasn't even a sniff or movement of anything in the water. It was REALLY clear water and just slightly lower flow than I've seen in the past. At least 10 other people in the area has the same result. One guy reported some catches including some females last Sat.

My brother is there today...same results. What the heck? It hasn't gotten cold, it's gotten warmer. The only thing I can believe is we need rain???

I had the same results at Taylorsville lake too.
Everyone I talked to was complaining.
I can usually always get a few at several of my favorite
spots, but Saturday I couldn't even get a bite.
It should start picking up now.
Every year I find a week or two like this right before things take off.

I went out this past friday and caught several 5-6 in whites using a kastmaster and fishing slow but i never caught a fish worth taking a second look at. i havent really seen anybody catching anything worth keeping so its been kind of frustrating. However me and my dad went down to the nolin river and both of us caught 6 keepers a piece with some really nice females and a few guys down there had some walleye. fishing was good all together.
