C-Land Striper Night Bite Report

Hello,

My group is heading to C-Land the 1st weekend of May to fish the Striper nigth bite and I was wondering if it has started up yet or running late? I also saw that COE is planning to raise the lake 20ft in April. Sounds like there could be a mess on the water (floating lumber) just like back in 2011.

We will be fishing out of Wolf Creek hopefully.

Any information you may have would be great.

Never took a hit & never heard any shad.

Fished near dam and up into Indian Saturday night, it was like the dead sea Water temps still too cold in my opinion 48-51.

Should be fine at that time. No telling what the water will be. Only takes one big rain to mess with the lake.

Fished Monday night dark until about 11 Eastern.....nothing. Did better trolling the next 2 mornings.
