Fished in Fishing Creek on Sunday with same results...no hits. Graphed fish but no takers. A lot of debris on the water as the water continues to rise.

Finished this past weekend. The surface temperature was 48°. Finished about mid creek, scattered fish marked 15 feet to 35 feet. Also marked fish further up the creek where the channel is 50 feet. Caught two Saturday and none Sunday. The fish up the creek were marked at 20 to 50 feet. The fish were very fat which was great to see.
The stripers were biting extremely light. When the rod tip's started to move just a little had to feed them line until they took it all the way, or use downlines in free pool with a clicker and brake tightened worked also. Had for five other bites Saturday and without doing the above they did not hook up. Our only bite Sunday was the same as above and using the same method we hooked up however the fish went under the boat and got off when trying to remove the line from the trolling motor. I think the Fishing was tough Sunday as we left before the guides who had started bottom fishing.
The alewives were very large and easy to catch with only 25 feet of rope on the net. Had five or six that looked more like little skip jacks than alewives.
