Nolin Crappie

Going to Nolin tomorrow morning for the weekend. Anybody having any luck? If so how deep and where at. Minners or jigs? Thanks.

I havent been down there crappie fishing this year but ive always had better luck using jigs and if the lake is at summer pool id fish structure around 15 ft and up. also look for some rock walls and structure that may be close to them id say that would be a good start for spawning crappie. I fish dogcreek and places around wax so if your fishing around there let me know how you do.

WE CAUGHT some around the Nolin Estates area using minnows and slip bobbers we were fishing submerged brush with our depth set @ 7ft .If you set it at 9 ft nothing or if you set it at 6ft same thing ....7 feet was the magic number

That area is the fish habitat Taj Mahal. And best part is that area holds great fish habitat at summer and winter pools.
