Daughters 1st bass

Took my 6yr old Isabelle fishing this evening. I have wanted to take her beforebut she hasnt wanted to go. Well tonite she did. She caught 5, the first couple were about 12" and then she caught a 3lber. She fought it like a pro. She toss all of them and the few I caught back. I think I may have a fishing buddy which make s me so happy I cant stand it. I tried to upload a the pick but couldnt get it to. Ifany one has a suggestion on how to upload I would appericate it.

Those memories will stay with you forever. I can't wait until I have a kid and can experience something like that. I remember when my fiancé caught her first big bass I couldn't have been any happier.

Nothing like taking your kids fishing...........NOTHING.

I have two daughters. My oldest, while she likes to fish doesn't go any longer.....My youngest on the other hand, she LOVES going, and has been on 6 trips to the Boundary Waters with me, and is going again in August.

Continue introducing the young uns to the outdoors. One day, I'm hoping to take grandkids to the Boundary Waters.

And when I'm old and feeble, I hope my daughters remember who introduced them, and they take me on a few trips

Sweet! I remember my older daughters first one and all the excitement....my younger has some time before she has her turn.

This is just awesome....I am so thankful my parents took me fishing when I was little or I would love it like I do today. It takes more time...and patience but it is so worth it....Wish more families did things like this with their kids...those are the best memories you will ever make
