I took my kayak out this morning from 6:30am to 8:30am on Camp Ernst lake. Thats a tough lake to fish from the bank but if you can get out on the water its a whole different ball game. I was throwing a couple different minnow imitations. White/Chartruese during the low light conditions and then a more natural minnow color once the sun came out. I had them both rigged on gold spinners like a beetle spin. The bass were sitting on points of coves and in weeds along the bank. Ended up with 7 largemouth and even had 1 nice channel cat that also took my lure and one bluegill. No monsters but a pretty good morning over all.
sorry the pics came out sideways. I'm not really sure why that happened...
