what do you think about trading motors..

I just got a 89 tracker V17 with a 70 evinrude,,,not happy with the way it runs or the speed..the boat handles great in rough water,,this is what i was thinking,,,it is rated for a 80,,was looking at weights of the 70 vs 90 or 115...the v4`s run about 50lbs heavier,,,the tracker only runs like 35-37gps that sucked,,,think the boat could handle say a 90

NO..........going over the rating on the tag will pretty much make you liable for any issues.....PERIOD.

That is plenty fast, you in a hurry or something??

well i want to go faster then i walk...lol i don`t see why you can`t put a bigger one on it,,,the V18 is rated for a 140 not much bigger...lol,,,would like to run lest 40-45
