    Louisville football opinion

    Alright here's the scenario...
IF Louisville wins out and litterally pounds who they are suppose to and beats the close one or toss ups games with a decent point spread will they get a shot at a National title???

I say no, the schedule is just too weak, not by their fault but have to play the hand they have been dealt. Strong went after Georgia and Arkansas for this years schedule but they declined.

    Ok what say you.....

Man I haven't even thought about college football for a while. You'd have to see how the rest of the games shake out. Really no reason why Louisville couldn't be the sacrificial lamb to the SEC juggernaut. They weren't the lamb against Florida but until somebody wrestles the belt away from "team SEC" when all the marbles are on the line...........

I'm ready for some frest meat at the top. Anybody but team SEC!

If UofL wins out anything could happen, depends on the BCS system and what other teams do. I like Lurvulle even though they did mess up my brackets earlier this year.

I'm one of those annoying SEC fans...worse yet a die hard Alabama/Auburn fan. Sooner or later somebody's going to knock the SEC out of the box, but I hope it's later.

    Roll Tide!

Strong is building a National contending team but this year they will get no respect due to schedule. The Lovefest for the SEC will continue as always and I get that. I just wish alot of the SEC teams would step out of conference and play some up and comers and just see what happens. Strong, Petrino and Howard tried hard to get Georgia on the schedule, Arkansas and Tennessee as well and they always decline...

I believe the weak schedule keeps the Cards out of the Mythical National Championship game this year. If they run the table next year with their schedule they would get a shot, but not this season.

Hey now boys, you gotta worry about beatin STOOPS and his TROOPS this fall first!!!!

THEN, once you do that...and you'll do that this year...I pretty much agree with the opinion that even running the table, the schedule will keep you out of the title discussion.

Id say it depends what the rest of the teams do. Most likely there will be a sec team in the championship game, and deservingly so judging from past results. Why should they step out of conference and play big games when most of their conference games are against ranked teams. Im not saying UL doesnt have the beat team in the country, and they could be deserving of a shot at whichever sec team steps up this year

Lets say Alabama losses one game to Texas A&M who is undefeated. Also Oregon and Ohio State have only one or two losses.

Does a undefeated UofL play in that championship game?

I don't think so but I do think if Bridgewater gets 4k yards passing(puts up crazy stats) and they go undefeated he could be the number one pick in the 2014 draft.
