    Herald Leader says it's up ~ 10ft

Been there the previous two weekends (night) and trash lines were all over the place, with some seriously large pieces of timber floating. I'd venture to say it's 10x worse, now, with the rise. (I was in the Kamp Kennedy/Chimney Rock area, to "mile stretch", to Cane Run Creek on those nights)

I haven't seen the water, but the level is at 742.70. They have been holding the lake this year around 740. I asked earlier if anyone has had any luck fishing the jumps, but I got no reply. I won't go this weekend because I don't want to deal with PWC and pleasure boaters. If you go, please give a fishing report. I would really appreciate it.

I think the gauges messed up for a bit, earlier yesterday according to the web, it showed a huge spike in the water level, then a couple hours later it was corrected. I'd say from pandora to the dam should be good to go. Just be careful as always.

The previous quote is correct, it's around 742.75 in elevation. It came up about a 1.75 feet since last week, which is not terrible for herrington. The water color is good and fishable from coffee cove all the way to the dam. Not sure about the river, there is a lot of floating debree, but it's not terrible either. You can run through and around it pretty easy, at least i did.Fished a tourney last night and 11 pounds won. Fishing is a little tough but you can still catch em if you get around a few.
