If it's legal and will catch fish, I will throw it.
That being said:
I like to watch the "pros" fish for the reason of them figuring the fish out and catching them. I like to learn from them, and I think that the A-rig has taken away from that a bit. #1) The A-rig isn't just chunk and wind, you have to know where to chunk it to be productive, however, rarely does a show actually show you what they are chunking to. NOW, when they are pitching to cover, or cranking a bluff wall, I see that and think, "I can find something similar, maybe I can make that work." Odds are that I can't, but at least it gives me a glimmer of hope. LOL
