Barren rive lake

Going down in the morning for some bass fishing . I seen that the water has came up some. Just wondering if anyone had any info on the bass fishing.

Did you end up going? Was thinking about going Saturday but looks like lake is 9 feet over summer pool

Yea we went down. The lake was coming up really fast. We caught around 50 bass on top water. Shakey heads. All the fish we was catching was chasing shad. A few times in the morning it was pretty crazy inthe small creek we was fishing. Nothing over 3lbs tho. We fish a lot of points and drops and not even a bite. Not sure where the big fish are. All this up and down water we have been having have the deep bite a lil messed up I think.
